Hailing from New York but currently residing in the snow haven of Alaska, Dihan is a Filipino-American social media researcher for Dear Asian Youth. Being only 15 and a sophomore in high school, Dihan is very passionate about issues impacting minority communities and their strong ties to intersectionality. He aims to concentrate in biochemistry or health policy after graduating, and ultimately hopes to take on a challenging M.D - Ph.D pathway with a focus on underrepresented communities. Dihan has a wide range of interests, and you can typically catch him reading the newest YA novel, watching a classic film, or listening to 90’s hiphop.
